All research projects funded by Utah Wildlife In Need are based on sound scientific methods and conducted by leading professionals in the fields of wildlife research and conservation. All research results are required to be peer reviewed and published in scientific journals. Each project is carefully reviewed by the UWIN Projects Committee to ensure that all dedicated resources support efforts to sustain Utah’s threatened, native species. UWIN utilizes past research that relates to potential projects to make informed decisions on native species support.
