Memorial gift in honor of David Schaible, Newfield Oil
David Schaible was an outdoor enthusiast with a passion for wildlife conservation. To honor David, the former CEO of Newfield Oil, the Newfield Foundation recently donated $25,000 to Utah Wildlife in Need. The David Schaible Ferruginous Hawk Research and Conservation Fund will support critical research. The research focuses on whether the placement of tall artificial nesting platforms can improve the nesting success of ferruginous hawks in northeastern Utah.
